Your Privacy is a Right. This almanac is a personal, family-run page. We have no interest in your data, no advertisers to serve, and no reason to collect anything about you.

Location Data: The local food finder asks for your ZIP code to find nearby locations. That ZIP code is converted to coordinates using Google Geocoding, and nearby places are fetched from Google Places. Your ZIP code and location are never stored in our database, never logged to a file by us, and discarded once results are returned. Google's own privacy policy governs data sent to their APIs.

External Content APIs: This page pulls content from several external services — NASA (astronomy), TheMealDB (recipes), ZenQuotes (quotes), WeatherAPI (moon phase), and Google Places (local food finder). We temporarily cache API responses for up to 24 hours to reduce redundant calls and improve load times. We do not send information about you to these services beyond what is required for the search.
